Discovering a way through life's struggles... |
Sometimes life is overwhelming – sickness, death, divorce, mental anguish, … We have been through life’s tough times too and know you need something to help get you through.
Hangin’ on Faith is here to provide hope and encouragement during those times. We are reaching out to help in various ways. On this website are stories from real people who may have gone through similar situations. Sometimes reading about how someone else has prevailed will give you the strength and encouragement to make it through too. Read our stories to gain hope for yourself or share with another. Most storytellers are even available for contact for more personal help and sharing.
Knowing there is a way to make it through a difficult time may provide a ray of hope...

New Product Colors!

Once we decided to open up our ministry to stories beyond mine about breast cancer, it became obvious that we needed more than just the pink ribbon on the cross. So, we now offer 5 additional ribbon colors: Pink, Gold, Purple, Yellow, and Blue/Teal.
You might choose a color because its your favorite or because of what it represents. Some common uses include (but certainly not limited to):
Pink - a Daughter, Breast Cancer Gold - Childhood Cancer, the Golden Streets of Heaven Violet - General Cancer, Domestic Violence, Children with Disabilities Yellow - Support our Troops, Teen Suicide, Missing persons, Equality Teal/Blue - Ovarian & Cervical Cancer, Child Abuse, Sexual ViolenceOf course we will offer the earrings and the magnets which provide you a way to share the message of Hangin' on Faith!
Oh and if you haven't thought of it yet - remember Christmas is coming!

I am excited to share with you our first newsletter! So much so that I decided I wanted to author this one all by myself!
Hangin' on Faith is a new non-profit ministry which desires to provide hope and encouragement to people going through tough times in their life, whether it be sickness, death, need for forgiveness, divorce. These can be awful experiences. One way we're reaching out is through sharing stories. Stories are a powerful thing! Our belief is by knowing that someone else has seen it through; it might provide them the personal strength needed to make it too! Therefore, the lifeblood of our ministry is stories - Real people's stories and how they made it by Hangin' on their (or another's) Faith in Jesus our Lord. This month we were able to add 7 stories! If you or a friend might have a faith story that would help others, please consider sharing it by clicking this link Tell your friends and family and places of work and worship about us! The Yoplait Event Some really wonderful stuff has been going on! I won a National contest, Kroger Salutes Survivors, by responding to 1 of their 5 categories, specifically How have you used your Breast Cancer to support the community? My response talked about this very ministry! I and 4 other winners (1 for each category) were flown to Dallas, Texas, for a photo shoot. There we were made up fancy-smancy so we could get a photo that will be featured on Yoplait Fridge Pack packaging as well as on point-of-sale materials in stores nationwide this fall and next spring. Imagine ME on a yogurt case in the refrigerator section - That's Cool!! (tee hee- get it .. frig. Section.. cool) I'm the one on the far right in the photo. In addition, $1000 is being donated to the local Susan B. Komen foundation in my name which will allow me to be recognized at the upcoming Pink Fest festival on October 5th here locally where a bit of the Hangin' on Faith story will be shared! God's Blessings to You!
